First Session in the Studio
This was one of my first studio sessions since creating the space for the photography studio and I fell in love with the studio immediately thanks to Baby Henry. The studio is so light, warm, and cozy that it was the perfect space to document Henry’s 8-month milestone. I absolutely love documenting baby’s milestone sessions. From styling the session, to props, to playing with baby! From start to finish it’s a lot of fun documenting baby’s newest developments. I always allow time for outfit changes, feedings, and extra snuggles as needed. As always, parents can choose from my studio outfits, bonnets, hats, flower crowns, headbands, and more to incorporate into their session.
Grow With Me Plan
This particular milestone session is session number two of three photo sessions from my Grow With Me Plan. After Henry’s newborn session, his momma decided she wanted to document baby’s entire first year with Amy Milam Photography. For those that wish to capture every milestone of Baby’s First year, I offer the Amy Milam Photography Grow With Me Package. This package includes milestone photo sessions throughout Baby’s First Year, namely at 4 months of age, 8 months of age, or 12 months of age. I absolutely love getting to photograph all three of these milestones during Baby’s First Year, because, as we all know, baby’s change so much so quickly during that first year of life.
Each Grow With Me milestone session focuses on the new developmental milestones baby has achieved at that time. For most babies, the 8-month milestone photo session focuses on baby sitting unassisted and even crawling.
Henry is 8 months!
Sweet Henry was so happy and cheerful, I knew he’d be a charmer behind the camera! He smiled throughout his entire milestone session and even gave us some new, silly faces (tongue out), as well. I wanted to document all of Henry’s squishy rolls (wrist rolls are my weakness!) before he started slimming down due to crawling or walking. Henry’s overalls from Carter’s were the perfect outfit! I love the variety of images we were able to capture!
