Mommy & Me – Nicki and her boys

Just over four years ago this beautiful lady came knocking on my door. As a new mom on maternity leave I was hesitant to answer (sleep deprivation and utter lack of personal hygiene will do that to you). However, I could see through the door she had cupcakes — so we all know what happened next. 🙂

Turns out we were neighbors and having noticed Tim and I had just welcomed a baby boy she wanted to bring us a gift. I was overwhelmed with such thoughtfulness and generosity. I learned she was also expecting a baby boy which was truly the icing on the cake!

Since then we’ve become fast “mom friends”. I cherish her presence in my life and I love that our kids have such great playmates just a few doors down.

It was a joy to capture a few precious moments of this wonderful mamma with her beautiful boys.
